Peter Weissman is an American composer for film, TV, and video games.

A recent graduate of California State University, Northridge, his portfolio covers a variety of genres, including Classical, Chamber, Rock, and Jazz.

Recent compositions include a world premiere piece for the California State University, Northridge Youth Orchestra, titled Above the Clouds.

Recent film scores include False Profits, a film written and directed by Matthew Bahrami.

Touring performers highlights include Aperture Duo and the Beo String Quartet. Artists Adrianne Pope and Linnea Powell performed his chamber piece “Fake Dance” in 2023. The Beo String Quartet recorded his composition, “The First Rise”, in 2023.

Peter currently resides in Los Angeles with his dog, Oliver.
